Lawyers have many duties and responsibility to themselves,
company and community as a whole; and Indian lawyers are no exception. There
are many issues and problems facing the environment that lawyers can wade in
and provide solution to through collective reasoning and collaboration. However
in other for these collective reasoning to take place and be affected by ideas
exchange and suggestions, there is need for an agreed platform like the India lawyers forum. In India today,
there are many political issues that a lawyer can wade in add his or her ideas
and also support its implementation. For example through these one platform
India lawyers can discuss prevailing situations in the society and also work to
proffer solutions to them. In this article, some of the challenges facing
India, and how lawyers can use active forums to proffer a solution will be
discussed.

One of the major issues facing India is water resources.
Water is a very primary need for all living things, without it live cannot be
sustained. This problem has been in India for a long time now and I need to be
addressed. Another issue is enhances infrastructure.

so bad that on a scale of average Indian
companies lose about a whole long month in getting electricity connection,
another 2 weeks in exports clearance in Customs, and also lose about 7% of the
sales from erratic power problems.
Added to the above there are issues like women empowerment
problems, poverty and population increasing causing malnutrition, homelessness,
unemployment, and so on. The problem of sport privatization is also an issue to
be recon with, not to talk of recent supreme court decisions and how it affect their economy growth.
The above issues are just very few among many problems in
India. The lists are by no means exhaustive. The Judiciary system in a country
has a whole lot to play in combating all kind of problems and proffering
solution to them. Through simply implementing their code of ethic and duties,
lawyers can form a forum to address some of these issues.
In the case of women empowerment problem, discussion about
how to use the power of judiciary to enact a law that will support women
empowerment can be started and beyond that a solution also proffered. They can

Lawyers are there to interpret laws, provide advice, read
